How Did We Get Our Start?

Back in the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. He worked hard, and so did his hands. They would often split and crack in the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. It helped his hands so much, he decided to share it with everyone he knew - and the rest, as they say, is Badger history.

How to Apply Badger Mineral Sunscreens

We recommend rubbing the product between your hands to warm it before applying. This will make application easier. Apply directly to the skin, rubbing it in to protect the entire area and reduce whitening. For full protection, reapply at least every 2 hours. To cover your entire body, be sure to use about a shot glass-full for adults. The phrase 'a little bit goes a long way' is not true of any sunscreen.
